三.教材简要分析

八年级英语下册共十个单元,每单元设计一个话题,并以此为中心,通过语言结构、功能项目为主线展开,采用任务型语言教学方式,以循序渐进的生活化的学习程序引导学生学会运用英语,有目的地做事。新教材中设计了许多活动,如填写问卷、调查、访谈、书信、邮件往来等,使学生在语言学习中更好地体验、实践、参与、合作与交流,同时增加了学生在课堂上的互动,为任务型教学创造了条件。 同一话题随着学习的深入,内容不断充实,通过“滚动”呈现学习,不断深化。如提建议话题,在七年级出现,在本教材Unit8也“滚动”呈现,支持话题的“任务”、“活动”也不断“升级”,伴随语言学习不断从“低级”走向“高级”,贯穿于教材始终。 此外,教材中每个单元设计的 Pair work、Group work、Survey及Game为课堂活动提供了丰富的资源。

利用学案导学进行教学。“学案”由学习目标、知识结构、认知方法和技能训练四个要素组成。教师设计学案时,首先根据课程标准,制定教学目标和学生活动内容,着力点放在“学习活动设计”上,它包括学习内容和学法指导,如观察、联想、对比、归纳、思考、讨论等;还要拟定培养学生何种思维方法,训练何种能力,指导何种解题方法等,要准确、具体,使静态的学习内容动态化。同时充分考虑学生的个性差异,认知水平的高低,通过启发性、趣味性等问题设计和学案的情景设计,使学生进入角色,激起兴趣,达到全体学生自主学习的目的。“导学”包含两个方面的内容。一是“导”,教师要立足于“主导”地位,即创设情境、明确任务;组织学习、适时点拨;合理评价、情感推动。二是“学”,其中包括扫除显性障碍和找出疑难问题,也包括对教学内容要点的梳理和重点目标的明确。应当注意的是,这里教师的“导”是为学生自学服务的,学生的“学”是在教师的指导下进行的,二者相互配合,相辅相成。

(二)、使学生明白学习目的。学生是学习的主体,老师不能代替学生读书,代替学生感知,代替学生观察、分析、思考,代替学生明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。 要学好英语,首先要使学生认识到学这一语言的目的和意义。因此我结合本地区学生的实际情况,通读和节选教材,围绕着最简单、最基本、最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等进行教学,使学生对英语产生兴趣,形成学习动机。

四、学情简要分析

整体而言,学生成绩和学生的学习态度的两级分化十分严重,少部分英语基础好的优秀学生,不管是在学校,还是在家,都能认真学习、主动思考问题,同时还能够及时反馈学习情况,在他们身上,教和学得到了比较好的统一。与此相反的是,另一部分同学英语基础很差,有些连26个字母都不能背全;学习态度也十分懒散,不但不愿学,不想学,还影响课堂纪律,影响他人学习。其他大部分学生属于中间层次,虽然不太吵,但学习情况依然很不理想,还是存在很多不想学不愿学的情况。总的来说,学生在英语学习上所存在的问题主要表现在1)听、说、读、写等方面的基本技能未能掌握,连音标和单词的拼读都没有掌握好;(2)受方言影响,多数同学的发音不准确。(3)单词量掌握较少;(4)上课时精力不集中,对英语有一定的抵触心理;(5)学生整体的惰性还是很强,自觉性很差。(6)学生在情感态度,学习策略方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的问题。例如:很多学生不能明确学习英语的目的,没有真正认识到学习英语的目的在于交流;大多数同学没有养成良好的学习习惯,不能做好课前预习课后复习,学习没有计划性和策略性;不善于发现和总结语言规律,不注意知识的巩固和积累。

我所带的是初二年级(1)(2)两个教学班,共有学生人数89 人,通过初一年半的英语学习,大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事。能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。能读懂短篇故事,能写便条和简单的书信。但由于是农村学生及各种因素的影响,学生发展参差不齐。有少数学生因为基础不够好,学习很吃力而自暴自弃,有的因此扰乱课堂次序,这给教学带来不少困难。

本期教材共10个模块,教学模块10个,再加2个复习模块,每个模块由三部分组成。并且都设计了learning to learn这一专栏,培养学生的良好的学习方法,教学生如何解决学习困难。并且注意培养学生的创新精神和观察、记忆、思维、想象能力等。其中一些任务在教学实践中已经用过,不仅有很强的时间性,而且有很强的可教学性。时间紧任务重,只有科学、合理的安排教学时间,才能顺利的完成任务。

比较积极向上;二班的学生英语底子较差,且大部分对英语不感兴趣。针对这个情况在八年级上学期我采用了不同的教学方式。在二班降低了要求,更重视高分层的培养;在一班鼓励学生展开小组活动,以好带差。经过一学期的努力,学生们的学习方法有所改善,学习热情有所提高,学习成绩有所进步。大多数学生已能听懂有关熟悉话题的语段和简短的故事。能与教师或同学就熟悉的话题交换信息。能读懂短篇故事,能写便条和简单的书信。但由于各种因素的影响,学生发展还是有些参差不齐。本学期还要继续努力,在抓好高分层的同时也要提高低分层。努力提高整体成绩。

五、教学中应注意的问题

1、在英语教学过程,应注意教养学生综合运用英语的能力。在培养学生阅读能力的同时,注意加强听、说技能的训练。能过听、说、读、写技能的综合训练,促进学生综合运用英语的能力。逐步具有运用英语进行交际的能力。

2、在设计教学活动的过程中,教师应考虑活动目标明确、简洁,活动形式避免单一,注意广度和深度。

3、活动资源的选择要适合学生,资源的利用要合理化。五,教学安排

本学期共有二十周的教学时间,每周六个课时。有十个教学单元。我计划每个单元授五节新课,巩固一节,期中和期末复习各安排六课时,其余再安排几个专题训练课时。

一、教学目标

二、教材分析

八年级英语是河北教育出版社出版的冀教版英语,教材编排有以下目的:

1、要使学生受到听、说、读、写、英语的训练,掌握最基础的语言知识和语言技能以及培养初步援用英语交际的能力;养成良好的外语学习习惯,掌握学习外语的基本方法;为进一步学习和运用英语打下扎实的基础。

2、使学生明确学习英语的目的性。

3、培养初步运用英语交际的能力和自学能力。

三、教材重点、难点

本册教材从语音、词汇、语法、阅读等方面着手:

1、语音教学本册课本在上册的基础上进一步学习和运用音标和单词的发音规则,着重抓好学生的'预习,自学能力。

2、词汇教学本册课本所要学习、掌握的单词约400个,另有固定搭配和习惯用语若干条,任务较重。

3、语法教学本册课本的语法教学项目有:动词过去完成时、过去进行时、情态动词、五种简单句的结构等。

4、阅读教学是重中之重,本册课本中的阅读课文比上学期难了很多,仍以对话为主,还有一些简单的短文。因此,提高学生的听说、表演对话的能力仍是本学期的一个教学重点,还应有一定的语法基础,具备相当的句子表达能力,能运用一定的词组和句型。

四、学情分析

从整体情况来看,学生英语基础较差,兴趣不高,甚至有部分学生的听说读写能力还不够一年级水平,所以在课堂教学时,出现有学生不守课堂规则,不愿听课、睡觉或是做与课堂无关事情的现象,这使得课堂难以调控,难以形成英语学习氛围。有少部分学生基础较好,自制能力较强,能认真听课,按老师要求完成各项任务。总的来说,本班的英语教学具有挑战性,需要耗费不少时间和精力。

五、教学措施

1、依据学生基本情况,逐步激励学生对英语产生学习兴趣。

2、重视课堂教学质量,逐步提高学生英语交际能力。

3、有意识培养学生听力、表述、朗读、书写和作业的基本能力。

4、重视思维过程系统编排,由浅入深,由易到难,由已知到未知,循序渐进,点面结合,逐步扩展,循环往现,以加深影响。

5、特别注重阅读能力的培养。

初二阶段的英语教学工作十分关键,而这届学生英语底子薄,兴趣不高,在这种情况下,就需要更加深入地研究教材,根据学科特点及学生特点研究切实可行的课堂教学模式。努力探索适合学生特点、学生乐于接受的教学方法及模式。同时,要进行分层次教学。对于好的学生要加大知识的容量,拓展知识的层面,使好学生成绩更上一层楼;对于差生要因势利导,因材施教,使差生在原有的基础上有所提高。

六、教学进度

本书为初二年级下册用书,共8单元,每天一课,剩余时间用来复习。

1. either;each;every

either表示“每个”,是指“两者之一”。如:There are many trees on either side of the river. 在河的两旁都种有许多树。

each和every这两个词也都有“每个”的意义。each强调“各别;各个”,而every 强调“全部;都”。如:He gave each boy an apple. 他给每个男孩一个苹果。The sun shines every day. 每天都是阳光灿烂。

另外,every只能用作形容词, 因此只有在与名词连用或构成复合词时, 才能用作主语或宾语;而each可用作形容词, 也可用作代词, 直接作主语或宾语。 如: Each of them wants to try.他们每人都想试一试。

2.except;besides

except意为“除……之外(不再有)”, 而besides意为“除……之外(还有)”。如:We all agreed except Tom. 除汤姆之外,我们都同意。(除了汤姆外,其他人都同意)We all agreed besides him. 除他同意之外,我们也都同意。(不仅他同意,其他人也同意)

3.surprise;amaze

surprise和amaze作动词,都有“使吃惊”的意思。surprise 是通用词,它的含义是使人一愣。表示“出乎意外地惊异”。 如: We were surprised at finding the house empty. 我们惊讶地发现房子是空的。

amaze 所表示的吃惊中包含着使人迷惑不解、困窘或惊疑不定。如:Scientists have been amazed to find that it can cut through the hardest rock with great ease. 科学家们惊诧地发现,它可以轻而易举地钻穿最坚硬的岩石。

4.pay for;cost;spend;take

pay for意为“为……付钱”。如:He paid £5 for the book. 他买这本书花了五英镑。

cost表示“花费(金钱, 时间)”,主语必须是物。如:That suit costs me £6. 那件上衣花掉我6英镑。

spend表示“花费”,主语必须是人,可以用指花费钱、时间、精力等。其后接on sth.或(in)doing sth.。如:He spent a lot of money on books. 他花了许多钱买书。

take表示“花费(钱或时间)”,主语应是不定式,可以用it作形式主语代替。如:It takes a lot of money to buy a house. 买一所房子要花一大笔钱。

《新目标英语》八年级下册,全书共有十个单元,另两个复习单元。本教材各单元话题灵活,贴近生活实际。本册书将学习的一些语法知识点有:一般将来时、过去进行时、现在完成时、间接引语、时间状语从句、条件状语从句、反意疑问句等。同时每个单元后都提供了一篇阅读文章,用以训练学生的阅读能力,扩大学生的阅读量。

2、充分利用现有的现代化教学设备,加强直观教学,提高课堂效率。
