小学的英语学习其实是简单的，单一的，它没有完整的知识系统。小学英语学习最主要的就是积累简单常用的词汇，诸如：father，house，family等等，然而进入初中之后，词汇量的大量增加，系统语法知识的庞大，短语搭配的增多，课文文章的加长，还有中考应试的压力，这一切都让初中学习可能感到不知所措，很茫然。我们可以从下面几个方法重视下：
第一，单词的记忆。其实英语的学习历来都把单词的学习作为重点，初中也不例外。我们一定要记住，记忆切忌孤立的，单纯的背诵单词。我们中学最习惯的背诵方法就是背拼写，比如what这个单词我们一般都是这么背，w-h-a-t:what，这样只是记住了几个孤立的字母而并没有记住单词，我想过不了几天就会把这个单词忘掉。那么我们就要把单词放在一个整体或者环境中背诵，比如我们不如记住下面一句话：What is your name?(你的名字叫什么)那么我们就不容易忘掉了。
也就是说我们每记一个单词都要相应的记住每一个用这个单词完成的例句，因为单词的意思只能在句子中体现，有意思我们才不容易忘掉，而孤立的无意思的不容易记住。千万不要逐字母的背，要在运用中去记忆。另外记忆单词要利用一切其他可能的办法去记住，比如分类记忆：我们把动物的有关词汇放在一起，把有关校园的有关词汇放在一起，或者天文，地理，等等。最主要的，我们要掌握记忆单词的技巧。

初二学生
在初中阶段的英语教学中，初二年级的分化现象往往十分突出，直接影响着学生在整个中学阶段的英语成绩，同时也阻碍了初中英语教学质量的提高。因此，如何防止分化，大面积提高教学质量，使学生在初中阶段获得较好的成绩，是我们英语教师值得研究讨论并着手解决的问题。
学生出现分化的原因：
第一，记忆词汇出现困难。回想初一时候，学生学习兴趣高，可以很容易按照教师指导大声诵读，积极造句，甚至自己把一些有趣的单词放入现有的分类词汇表里。但是随着学习的深入，词汇量的增加，单靠兴趣本身来维系学习热情显然不可行，部分学生在学习中遇到困难时往往缺乏克服困难、解决问题、继续学习英语的意志，继而出现懒惰，遇难而退的现象。
针对这个想象，教学中就必须做到帮助学生解决根本问题，词汇多，分类困难，记忆困难。具体方法，找到其中的规律，包括一些较浅、较基础的词汇记忆方法(词根、词缀法或谐音法等)，鼓励学生，单词的记忆是有趣的规律性游戏，而不是用简单加号连接的算术连加题。
这就解决了孩子恐惧前方，任务无所适从的心理障碍，同时在一定的规律讲解下，真正有效的帮学生把初二的一类词汇和阅读二类词汇进行串联记忆。作为家长，可以做的功课其实相对简单，就是鼓励并监督孩子完成课下的单词卡片记忆等。

第二，语法、时态要重点掌握。关于他们的重要性是不言而喻的，可以让孩子配以海量习题做以练习， 现在分享一下三类题型用不同复习方法：完型第一遍粗做，大概看一遍文章，做出1/3左右的题目，第二遍仔细做;完型和阅读都要做到读完一遍或边读边发现该文章是关于哪方面问题的文章，然后迅速调集头脑中相关的背景知识(包括语法方面的)，这样会较容易做联系实际的文章。
阅读平时训练时，首先要养成正确习惯：不要指读;不要声读，包括小声读，动嘴唇不出声，这个习惯会严重影响阅读质量;不要“跳”读。要想读的快，重要的是精力要集中，目标要明确，习惯要正确。其次，课内训练时，不要留下半懂半不懂的文章。另外，在家自我训练时也要刻意注意阅读速度，平均300词的题连读带答题不要超过5分钟。
第三，写作复习时书上出现的各种文体的文章，例如：书信、日记、留言条、请假条、记叙性短文、说明文等，都要背诵，然后仿写。另外，平时做练习题时不要回避写作题，否则到真考试时不习惯做写作题。要练习用英文直接组织思维(前提是你头脑中有足够的现成词语和情景)，因为你的汉语水平远远超过你的英语水平。

我的寒假将要结束了。它差不多有一个月，但我觉得我只是放了一个星期而已。时间过得真快!我过了一个美好的假期。或者我可以说我过了一个美好的春节。我假期的第一天，我就开始做我的家庭作业。因为我知道如果我现在不做作业的话，我后面将不能过一个美好的春节。因此我决定在春节前完成我的作业。期望中的美好春节来了。我的家里是充满着欢笑和幸福的。我的家人和亲戚给了我一些红包，并且希望我能在学习上有所进步。我们还和朋友到街上玩。在春节的氛围将要消失的时候，元宵节到了。元宵之后，我觉得我的假期没剩多少时间了。两、三天后，我就要去学习开始我新学期的学习了。看，我太开心了以至于我觉得我只有一周的假期。

Ihave a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well asfocus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the mostimportant in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoymentduring the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shoppingwith my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. Myparents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinnerwas so delicious that I ate so full.
