早在初一年级的时候，各科老师就不断吆喝着“中考！中考！”。那时，我们想，中考还早着呢，等到了那时候，必定学得很好了。在这三年当中，不乏大考、小考、月考、会考。起先，我们还颇为紧张，临考前还会抓着书本啃两下。心想，多记一些是一些，说不准就考到了刚刚背的东西。但是，随着岁月的流逝，无数考生的身、心，已被各种各样的考试蹂躏得体无完肤，以至于到了现在，对任何考试已经麻木，再无半点紧张之感。中考前些日子，我也已感到大战将近，遂认真听了几堂课，记了一些重点。但无奈，怎知回家端本书慢慢弄懂里面题目大意及解决之法，却每每都是以看得头大、头痛告终。于是乎，就这样一步一步捱到中考。

这段期间，父母的确为我操了许多心，跑了许多路，流了许多汗，在这里要感谢他们。终于，我们决定到教育学院附中去看看。就这样，一家三口坐了几十分钟的公交车，来到了这所学校。这学校，比我想象得要远，比我想象得荒凉。在这校园里走着、想着，真的要到这不长草的地方来上学吗？不对，长了草，长得比我还高！可是，你还能去哪里呢？这点分数……我不禁苦笑：想我一世英名，竟落到个穷乡僻壤里来，真是……心中不禁一股悲凉升起。
